    This role reports to our Corporate Office in Deerfield Beach, FL

     

    Purpose of the Position

    The Business Development Leader – Powders, Resins and Sealants, will actively promote, develop and assist capturing opportunities within the CRS range of products, driven by market demand.

     

    We are looking for a professional with a proven track record in sales and management specifically in the commercial waterproofing and concrete restoration market, or related chemical or adhesives field. 

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Implement strategic sales plans as outlined by National Sales Director - CRS to realize corporate goals.

     

    Conduct sales presentations with key clients and prospective customers in coordination with sales representatives; sell MAPEI products with an emphasis on hands-on demonstrations, field support and showcasing saleable product features and benefits.

     

    The Business Development Leader – Powders, Resins and Sealants will be the point of contact for field sales within MAPEI Corp.

     

    Responsible for introduction of new products to include effective launch strategy, development of product literature (including technical data sheets), inventory support, product testing, strategic marketing strategies, contractor/specifier acceptance resulting in sales objective achievement.

     

    Meet with key clients (Design Professionals and Contractors), assisting sales representative while further developing relationships, negotiating and assisting to close the sale. 

     

    Identify sales opportunities available in each key metropolitan territory, and prioritize product development based on key market research. 

     

    Work with MAPEI PLM in the development of innovative products within the CRS business to provide single source solutions.

     

    Participation in applicable trade organizations (such as ICRI) and key committees, keeping MAPEI at the forefront of the industry.

     

     

    Qualifications

    Computer Equipment and Software Requirements

    Must have working knowledge of MS Office Products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), AutoCAD helpful.

     

    Education and Experience Required

    Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) and experience working with specialty contractors, engineers, consultants, etc. and ten (10) years of related sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    At present, we are considering candiates with related commercial waterproofing, concrete restoration or adhesives industry experience.

     

    Licensing or Special Requirements

    The Business Development Leader must be able to work remotely and independently under the direction of the National Sales Director – CRS.

     

    Valid state driver's license
