    The Maintenance Technician is responsible to safely and efficiently maintain and operate manufacturing equipment. The Maintenance Technician, will also be troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing production equipment including but not limited to industrial blenders, industrial mixers, automated packaging equipment, manual packaging equipment, robotic equipment, pumps, valves and pressures vessels.


    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Support daily plant operations
    • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and machinery, electrical instruments and control systems, electrical power systems, process and piping systems.
    • Safely maintain equipment while adhering to all policies, procedures and instructions
    • Complete Maintenance Work Orders in an efficient/effective manner
    • Document all activities, resources used, and appropriate closing codes in the CMMS.
    • Requisition required repair parts under direction of Maintenance Supervisor.
    • Request assistance as necessary to ensure safe handling of assignments.
    • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
    • Organize work areas for efficiency and safety, communicate safety issues to leadership  
    • Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required


    • Highschool diploma or GED, required
    • One (1) or more years of electrical experience
    • Have a proficient knowledge of mechanical processes
    • Be able to perform relevant calculations and analyses to assist in operation, sizing, and troubleshooting of processes and process equipment
    • Industry experience preference for chemicals, coatings, paintings, adhesives, food and beverage, consumer good

    Licensing or other Special Requirements

    • Valid Driver license in good standing
    • The ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; and up to 100 lbs. with assistance
    • The ability to stand for extended period of time
    • The ability to work with a personal computer and use Excel
    • Forklift experience a plus
    • Ability to work overtime as required
