    Purpose of the Position


    Responsible to provide technical assistance and training, product claim investigation and sales support in an assigned sales region as well as assist the Technical Services Department and R&D with various projects nationwide.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities


    Create/conduct training sessions; assist in specific product training on jobsites; create and conduct training seminars of product education to promote sales.


    Conduct architectural presentations; write technical correspondence / specifications and field technical inquires by phone


    Visit large job-sites for the purpose of trouble shooting, recommendations, or training.


    Analyze and process product claims. Submit job-site reports, pictures and videos to include the topics discussed, recommendations, and follow-up needed.


    Assist the Technical Services Department/R&D with field trials; perform competitive analysis and special projects.

    Make technical recommendations and/or assist/write proprietary specifications.


    Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations to maintain a current understanding of the industry and assess how MAPEI can stay ahead in the industry.


    Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules and instructions.


    Perform other duties as required.

    Fulfills EMS Policy and process requirements as documented in site procedures and instructions and, in particular, is accountable for pollution prevention, waste recycling, continuous improvement and applicable environmental laws related to his/her job.


    The position requires the ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment. Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access as well as using the Internet, if required.


    Education and Experience Required


    Bachelor’s (B.A.) degree and/or equivalent from four-year College or University and two years experience or the equivalent of related experience or any equivalent combination of related training and experience.


    Licensing or other Special Requirements


    Requires a valid drivers license and a good driving record


    Employee must be able to travel extensively, typically 75% of the time.
