    Qualifications

    Purpose of the Position

    Ensure a positive customer experience and strengthen customer relationships through professional, timely and accurate order processing.  Partner with Sales, Product Management, Accounting, and Operations to ensure all customers expectations are met and exceeded.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Process customer orders ensuring accurate and timely order entry, assign appropriate ship date, shipping location, and correct pricing.

     

    Check inventory to ensure product is available; if the product is not available at the desired location, coordinate shipping from another plant.

     

    Advise customers if product is not available and communicate availability date. 

     

    Resolve credit hold issues with customers, accounting department and sales.

     

    Scan order documents into optical storage system.

     

    Coordinate with customers and the shipping department to optimize freight costs and resolve delivery issues.

     

    Computer Equipment and Software Requirements

    The position requires the ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment. Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.  Experience with AS400 software a plus.

     

    Education and Experience Required

    Requires a high school diploma or the equivalent plus a minimum of 2 years of related experience or any equivalent combination of related training and experience.
