    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

     

    Communicate immediately to Manager, Supervisor and/or Lead-person, any discrepancies or nonconformities found on received and stored materials, tools, and/or finished products.

    Accurately and promptly determine items to be picked, gathered or distributed by read and administer daily shipping schedule and instructions, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions.

     

    Fulfill customer orders by accurately selecting products as specified on the pick tickets. This is accomplished by arranging the orders on pallets, systematically recording product, and conveying the order to the packaging stations to be stretch-wrapped.

     

    Convey products, materials, and/or finished goods to and/or from warehouse locations for use in the production process or in preparation for shipment to the customer by effectively operating material handling equipment such as industrial lift trucks, electric walkies, pallet jacks, etc.

    Sort, place, and identify materials and/or products on racks, shelves, or bins according to pre-determined sequence such as: Size, Type, Style, Color, Product Code, or Warehouse location.


    Complete requisitions, work orders, or requests of materials, tools, and/or other items; and distribute to production workers.

     

    Record and verify that orders ready for shipment comply with the all pick ticket specifications.


    Safely and carefully load and unload trucks and/or containers with stacked finished products, raw materials, and/or other items.

     

    Knowledge, Skills and Competencies Required


    Demonstrates proficient oral and written communication skills, including ability to listen, process information, then re-communicate instruction and direction in one-on-one and group settings, including (discussions, presentations, reports, and negotiations, as applicable).

     

    Able to manage work environment in order to increase efficiency; able to plan and coordinate work and activities in an optimal manner to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and timely.

     

    Able to develop strong, trusting business relationships with internal / external customers toward achieving Department / Company goals. Proactively support an atmosphere of teamwork by working collaboratively to meet team goals/objectives while respectfully appreciating other team members’ viewpoints.

     

    Maintains current understanding of technical processes/equipment, uses technology to increase performance/productivity

    Utilize time management skills by prioritizing time and being efficient when accomplishing work.


    Maintains high standards of personal ethics, supporting MAPEI's Code of Ethics.

     

    Computer Equipment and Software Requirements


    The position requires basic abilities to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment.

     

    Qualifications

     

    Education and Experience Required
    HS degree (GED equivalent) with warehousing experience and lift-truck certification.

     

    Licensing or other Special Requirements
    Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

    Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; and up to 100 lbs. with assistance

     

    Forklift Certification.
