    Responsibilities

    This is a progressive entry level first tier position that supports daily plant operations. On a daily basis, the Incumbent will safely and efficiently support all aspects of the shipping, receiving, distribution, handling, storing, and conservation of products within established guidelines and according to MAPEI’s high quality standards.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities  

    • Communicate immediately to Manager, Supervisor and/or Lead-person, any discrepancies or nonconformities found on received and stored materials, tools, and/or finished products.
    • Maintain a clean, safe and orderly work environment.
    • Fulfill customer orders by accurately as specified on the pick tickets.
    • Convey products, materials, and/or finished goods to and/or from warehouse locations for use in the production process or in preparation for shipment 
    • Sort, place, and identify materials and/or products on racks, shelves, or bins according to pre-determined sequence 
    • Record and verify orders ready for shipment 
    • Safely and carefully load and unload trucks and/or containers with stacked finished products, raw materials, and/or other items.
    • Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules and instructions.

    Qualifications

    • HS degree (GED equivalent) with warehousing experience and lift-truck certification.
    • The position requires basic abilities to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment.
    • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
    • Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; and up to 100 lbs. with assistance
    • Forklift Certification.
