Safely and efficiently transport Company products from the plant/warehouse to job sites as required. Responsible for the safe and effective troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of assets in accordance with Company directives.
Partner with dispatch to safely transport material to and from customer site.
Utilize the Class A CDL and Tanker Endorsements to transport materials as dispatched.
Fuel and clean truck, perform pre and post-trip inspections, complete paperwork.
Report maintenance issues to supervisor.
Responsible for the condition of the truck, trailers, tools and/or other equipment assigned.
Check truck to ensure equipment is in good working order.
Documents all mileage and service hours to abide by D.O.T. log regulations
Pump material into dispenser units.
Ensure that truck meets or exceeds safe operational standards. Report defects, accidents or damage.
Check in at weigh stations as applicable.
Obtain receipts and signatures for delivered goods.
Comply with applicable state and federal regulations.
Education and Experience Required
HS degree (GED equivalent) with 2 years driving experience.
Licensing or other Special Requirements
Valid Class A Driver’s License with Tanker Endorsements and good driving record.
Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. independently; and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
