    Responsibilities

    • Achieve targeted sales budget as established by the Company.
    • Sell Mapei products through various distribution channels including ready mix and precast concrete producers. 
    • Work collaboratively with producers, distributors, contractors, architects and designers to promote the features and benefits of Mapei products.
    • Sell Mapei Products with an emphasis on service, quality / consistence products, technical expertise, hands-on demonstrations using samples, and displaying salable product features.
    • Deliver price discounts and credit terms as determined by the Sales Director / General Manager.  
    • Develop lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
    • Participate in jobsite training, installation, inspection, product demonstrations, etc. as required.
    • Provide market feedback regarding customer and competitors; provide recommendations for new products based on market needs.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing decision makers to ensure high level of customer satisfaction.
    • Visit jobsites and communicate potential product claims. Submit jobsite reports, pictures to include the topics discussed and follow-up needed.
    • Maintain high standards of personal ethics, supporting MAPEI’s standards.
    • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
    • Respond to change productively and handle other duties as required

    Qualifications

    • Minimum five years’ experience in sales of commercial products.
    • Strong knowledge of architectural market, with a proven sales record.
    • Valid state driver’s license.
    • Ability to work independently and to travel throughout the assigned territory.
    • The position requires the ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment. Use Microsoft Office Suite software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as using the Internet.
