    MAPEI is looking for a Quality Control Technician to join our Quality Team based in Garland Texas.  The Quality Control Technician will report to the local Quality Manager and will join an established team of passionate quality professionals.  The Quality Team works closely with local operations and has a specific emphasis in supporting the production leadership teams. 


    As a Quality Technician with Mapei you will utilize your chemistry lab skills to perform tests, setup experiments and collaborate across the nationwide Mapei quality function.  The Quality Team works continually with a goal to establish and monitor specific quality standards within the building products industry for the Mapei Organization. At this time the postion will be hired on a temp to perm basis. 


    • Prepare and perform various tests samples on raw materials and finished
    • Identify and investigate abnormal test results, conducting root cause analysis
    • Prepare and record documents that report the results of lab work


    • One (1) or more years of Quality Control experience
    • Industry experience within chemicals and/or manufacturing
    • Bachelor's degree, preferably in chemistry or science related field
