    The Opportunity

    We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing team in Wildwood, FL.  This is a second shift supervisory role, hours are from 2:30PM - 11:00PM, Monday - Friday and occasional weekends.  


    As a Warehouse Supervisor with MAPEI you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of the warehouse operations; shipping and receiving, managing goods, quality control, and utilizing computerize systems (RF Scanners & ERP system) to ensure efficient operations and on-time delivery for MAPEI’s customers. 


    • Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in preparing, verifying, and keeping records of incoming and/or outgoing shipments.
    • Responsible for achieving ultimate customer satisfaction through high quality of service.
    • Achieve Company’s financial goals through cost control of inventory, shipping and warehousing.
    • Analyze shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments, and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedules.
    • Oversee incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy.
    • Determine space requirements and lays out efficient ways to arrange the shipments into containers, trailer, and trucks.
    • Determine routing and weight specifications for truck loads  
    • Inspect loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications.  
    • Prepare bills of lading and responsible for the planning and dock appointments.
    • Verify that truck drivers have pertinent permits and legal documents required by the products to be loaded.
    • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.


    • To be considered for this role you should have a minimum of High school diploma or GED.
    • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school preferred.
    • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education, experience and/or training.
    • Have strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
    • Previous forklift experience and training certification required.
    • Requires a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
    • The position requires the ability to work with a personal computer in a Windows environment. Requires proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
